Born and raised in Malaysia Chef Wong grew up with his mother who grew her own fruits, vegetables and herbs. This experience instilled an appreciation for fresh organic produce and simple flavors.
Immigrating to the United States at just the age of 22 he overcame many challenges but always dreamed of opening his own restaurant.
Decades of experience late and Chef Simpson Wong is the proud owner of the now closed Cafe Asean and Jefferson in New York City.
Excited for his next adventure Chef Wong is as creative and hardworking in his cooking as ever.
